Cockeyes

Completed 11-05-02

Something new - in Cockeyes (above) I used dry pigments.
Dry pigments are actual powdered mineral with no chemical additives. When mixed with gum arabic as a medium, the paint will literally last for centuries. It is 'pure' pigment and can be mixed with water alone, gum arabic, and or egg yolk as a water based paint, or with turpintine to be used as an oil based paint. The 'teal' color is actually the mineral called malachite.
